Being recruited by a vendor

I'm being recruited by a consulting company that is doing work at my current company. Is it ethical to recruit from a current client? I know I need to look out for #1 but should I be worried about what might happen down the road?

Another interesting statistic is that employees who receive a counter offer from their employers after giving notice are almost always gone within a year anyway.

Thanks! I guess I have to think about what I really expect to gain compared to what I can expect where I am. The company recruting me is a supplier, not a competitor but I guess I still have to decide if they're "pilfering" me or if this is just a "normal" way of finding people.
